Jeppe bowlers claim title against Bedfordview
Since the team who finished with the most points earned the opportunity to host the cross pool matches at their home venue these matches were played on the Jeppe Quondam greens.
The Jeppe Quondam men’s second team had a very successful 2021/22 season.

Playing in the red pool of division three in the Johannesburg Bowls Association (JBA) Saturday League, the Jeppe team won all their league matches and qualified for the cross-pool playoffs.
Since the team who finished with the most points earned the opportunity to host the cross pool matches at their home venue, Jeppe Quondam was at an advantage of their greens.
Jeppe met Turffontein’s first team and managed a convincing win to progress through to the final.

The final was played at Morningside Country Club. Jeppe met local rivals, Bedfordview Country Club’s second team.
The match was tightly contested, but Jeppe eased ahead in the ends to clinch the title.
Both teams in the final will be promoted to division two next season.
