Keeping the audience entertained was Mix FM’s Lundi Khoisan as she engaged with the authors throughout the evening.

The evening was filled with laughs as fans of Chasing Marian had the opportunity to interact with their favourite authors Amy Heydenrych, Pamela Power, Gail Schimmel and Qarnita Loxton.

Guests were presented with gift bags, treated to a glass of wine and were able to enjoy a light meal as they browsed the store waiting for the event to start.

Exclusive Book GM Batya Bricker said one of the hardest-hit casualties of Covid-19 and its restrictions were book clubs.

To remind readers of the pleasures of book clubs, Batya said Exclusive Books introduced the Big Book Club Bash, hoping to encourage members of book clubs to visit their nearest Exclusive Books store when in need of books or to get expert advice.
