Holy Rosary welcomes new Grade Eights

They are welcomed by the Grade 12 leaders and their class teachers, who light their candles as a symbol of the spirit of each girl in the high school community.

As per Holy Rosary School (HRS) tradition, Grade Eight learners are formally inducted into the high school at the start of each year to begin their five-year journey.

They are welcomed by the Grade 12 leaders and their class teachers, who light their candles as a symbol of the spirit of each girl in the high school community.

Over the years, on her journey to becoming an adult in Grade 12, the light may flicker during difficult times, but the sisterhood of peers and staff will nurture and protect the light and spirit of each girl.

At the end of her Grade 12 year, during Valedictory, she will once again stand on the stage with her candle, having achieved the goals she has set herself and ready to face any challenges that lie ahead with fortitude and confidence.
