Community members were able to enjoy some fresh air when they attended the first Modderfontein Farmers Market of the year.

Held on January 29 on the banks of the Flamingo Dam, the market is normally held monthly in the park-like facilities of the Modderfontein Bird and Sculpture Park.

The market is family-friendly, pet-friendly and has an array on offer for market-goers.

Some items shoppers may find include fresh produce, handmade crafts, some of which are made from recyclable materials, a variety of food, sauces and more.
