Edenvale’s Lawd’s creativity flourishes as he moves towards second mixtape

Ready for the next step in his artistic career, Eastleigh resident and musician Luthabo Ndlovu (Lawd Propaganda) is set to go on a provincial tour. The tour will see Lawd Propaganda perform in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.

Originally scheduled for the end of April, the tour was pushed back to the end of June. The tour will see Lawd Propaganda and other artists perform in the three provinces.

“So far everything is looking good and I am feeling positive about everything.”

Besides going on tour, a second mixtape release is also in the pipelines. Although he is keeping the title and date of release a guarded secret, Luthabo assured fans it will be something to look forward to.

“Compared to the Umbilical Chord mixtape, this one has a different feeling and vibe. I feel a lot closer to the music I have created recently,” he explained.

The leading single of the second mixtape CEO will be released on May 5.

“CEO speaks about taking control of things in my life that was controlling me and not doing things people told me to do and not listening to the advice of certain people. “As an artist and as a person, I would rather make my own mistakes and learn from them than take bad advice and be indebted to somebody else.”
Luthabo said things changed for him after he went to an event last year and felt the people around him at the time did not believe in what he did. “Since then, I have broadened my spectrum of association.”

He said in recent months he connected with rapper and producer Blxckie, who stays in Kempton Park. Luthabo said his creative drive has flourished in the past months as he has worked almost non-stop on tracks.

He said besides producing tracks he has also experimented more with different music genres and styles.
