Holy Rosary’s top achievers

The school wished them well on their new journey and all the best for their studies.

The matrics of 2020 from Holy Rosary High School each achieved their best in their final examinations and are beginning their tertiary studies in March.

The school wished them well on their new journey and all the best for their studies. Although all learners did well, the school’s top academics for 2020 were Kristen Loo, Simone de Castro and Vicky Chen, who obtained eight distinctions each.

All three learners hope to study medicine. The next top-performing learners were Courtney Laros, Daniella Johnston and Ashleigh Stock, who obtained seven distinctions and have chosen to study actuarial science, BSc in biochemistry and human physiology, and mechanical engineering respectively.

Fellow learners and top achievers Oshai Naidoo, Tyla Bibis and Tia Poovan will study mechanical engineering, architecture, and dentistry respectively.

Their advice to the matrics of 2021:

• Work hard from the beginning and work consistently.
• Set your goals and stay motivated and focused on what you need to do to achieve them.
• Do as many past papers as you can.
• Try to keep a balance in your life and manage your time effectively.
• Persevere through the challenges and be prepared to step outside of your comfort zones.
