Primrose Masters FC hosted a friendly Top Four Soccer Tournament

Primrose Masters FC hosted a friendly Top Four Soccer Tournament while the country was on eased Covid-19 regulations recently.

Sello Matseletsele, a coordinator of the event, said the aim of the tournament was to present something positive for the community.

“We aim to develop and keep children out of mischief, like drugs, alcohol, and child abuse. The event was also a year-end event for the Primrose Masters.”

The four teams that went head to head were Jairus FC, Burning Stars FC, Primrose Sports Academy, and Primrose Masters FC. Burning Stars FC were the stars of the tournament after they won. Primrose Sports Academy won second place. Jairus FC won third place.

A prize-giving event took place after the matches. Winning teams were honoured with medals and soccer balls.
H2O Car Wash and Chisanyama and Parcel It Couriers sponsored the prizes for the games.

“Thank you to our sponsors, coaches, and the teams that participated in the tournament. The children enjoyed a fun-filled day of soccer,” said the coordinator.
