In the hopes of getting the upper hand in the fight against crime, Edenvale SAPS is hoping to recruit informers.
Edenvale SAPS spokesperson Sgt Jacob Mashile said the duties of the informants will be to provide the SAPS with information on criminal activities.

“Informants and the police will work hand in hand,” said Mashile.
“All information will be treated as confidential.”
Mashile said the initiative aims to create a safer Edenvale for the entire community.
