Top Olympiad results for St Andrew’s learners

The event formed part of the Round Square programme with a focus on internationalism.

St Andrew’s School for Girls learners Lauren Taylor and Saesha Singh recently achieved outstanding results for their participation in the final round of the World Knowledge Olympiad.

Lauren finished ninth in the Grade Nine group and eighth overall, while Saesha finished sixth in the Grade Eight group and 27th overall.

Two-hundred-and-ninety-two learners were invited to the final round and a total of 205 learners took part.

In order to qualify for the final round, learners needed to score 38/60 (or above) or place in the top 50 of their grade in the first round.
