Enjoy a day with the family at the Modderfontein Farmers Market

Face masks are compulsory for everyone attending and social distancing, hand sanitising and other Covid-19 protocols must be adhered to.

After a much-anticipated wait, community members and market-goers can look forward to the reopening of the Modderfontein Farmers’  Market.

Set to be held at a new location, the farmers market will be held on October 31 at the Bird and Sculpture Park.

The market will be held between 9am and 2pm in the park located on Valley Road opposite the Flamingo Shopping Centre.

A R10 entrance fee per person will be charged. No cash will be accepted and payments are to be made with cards.

Children under six and pensioners (upon presenting their pensioner’s card) will not be charged.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep and development of the park.

Besides browsing the wares and products offered by entrepreneurs community members can look forward to observing birdlife while listening to the Hills Hammond.
