Police appealed to the community for any information which could assist in the investigation of a business robbery that occurred on Eighth Avenue.
Edenvale SAPS spokesperson Sgt Jacob Mashile said four male suspects, three of which were armed, entered the business pretending to be customers.
“The suspects took a laptop, cellphones, jewellery and an undisclosed amount of money,” said Mashile.
“They fled the area in an unknown vehicle.”

Mashile said no shots were fired and no injuries were reported to the SAPS.
He encourages businesses to try to improve security wherever they could.
Tips he provided included:
• Install security gates with access control.
• Remain vigilant and aware of any suspicious activities.
• Install good quality CCTV cameras.
• Install alarms and have a good relationship with the reaction company.
• Make sure the panic buttons work.
