Little Eden staff member and volunteer test positive for Covid-19

"Due to their vulnerability, Little Eden residents are considered high risk for Covid-19 infections."

All sections at Little Eden Society Domitilla and Danny Hyams Home had to be disinfected and deep-cleaned after one staff member and a volunteer tested positive for Covid-19.

Both are currently under self quarantine

“It is unfortunate that our staff member and one of our volunteers were infected despite strict precautionary measures at our homes,” said Xelda Rohrbeck, the CEO of Little Eden.

“We will continue with daily medical checks and close monitoring of the residents and staff in support of their well-being and risk mitigation plan.

“Due to their vulnerability, Little Eden residents are considered high risk for Covid-19 infections.

“The society thanks the community for their continued support and contribution towards the well-being of the residents, especially during such difficult times,” said Rohrbeck.
