Children put on a show for Mandela Day

Fundisisizwe Day Care Centre’s youngsters and teachers spent their 67 minutes for Madiba at Mangolongolo informal settlement.

Thenjiwe Nene, a teacher at the day-care centre, said they chose to visit the informal settlement as it is one of the disadvantaged areas in their community.

“We wanted the residents to feel special,” she said.

The youngsters spent their day dancing and performing.
