221 distinctions for St Andrews matriculants

19 out of the schools 20 subjects offered were above the IEB average with 10 learners results in the top one percent in the relevant subjects.

2019 marked the 31st year St Andrew’s School for Girls has received a 100 percent matric pass rate.

All of the learners has qualifying for tertiary studies and 99% of the learners achieved a Bachelor Degree pass.

The matric class also achieved a total of 221 distinctions and an average of 3.16 subject A’s per student

Nine distinctions went to the following learners:

Pearl Dumbu – English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation, Mathematics, History, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Advanced Programme English, Advanced Programme Mathematics.
