Edenvale SAPS and Pure Fountain Family Church partner for good cause

The event was attended by students, members of the congregation, City Takers and members of Edenvale SAPS.

The Pure Fountain Family Church and Edenvale SAPS partnered on November 25 for a 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign.

Sgt Jacob Mashile, Social Crime Prevention for Edenvale SAPS, said the event was a success as the community was made fully aware of this campaign.

The event was attended by students, members of the congregation, City Takers and members of Edenvale SAPS.

“This is the first day of 365 days of no violence against women, children and the vulnerable,” said Mashile.

He said Edenvale SAPS will be monitoring the area and churches will play a vital role in the fight against such crimes.

“Throughout the period of 16 days, we will be spreading the campaign around Edenvale,” said Mashile.

The event was held at Pure Fountain Family Church in Edenvale.

Mashile is highly appreciative of Pure Fountain Family Church and City Takers for hosting this event and being part of this campaign.
