Billy Anderson, owner of Vini’s Restaurant in Bedfordview, handed over funds donated to the Bedfordview Community Policing Forum (BCPF) on October 5.
Vini’s Restaurant raised R6 215 on behalf of the BCPF.
The money was raised to prevent crime within the Bedfordview community.

The funds were handed over to BCPF chairperson Gavin Henry, who gratefully welcomed the donation.
“We see this as a joint venture to update the CPF’s camera systems,” said Henry.
He said the camera network is the biggest drive at the moment as it is an ongoing cost.
In the future, Anderson said customers can still donate.
