Get ready for Rand Show fun

The expo attracts over 200 000 visitors each year and is referred to as Johannesburg’s biggest day out.

The Rand Show will take place from March 30 to April 8 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre.

The first Rand Show was held in 1894 and since then it has become one of South Africa’s largest and most iconic consumer events and one of the highlights of the annual events calendar.

This year’s categories include sport, children’s products and services, wellness, outdoor living, science, technology, government departments, trends, design and home living, as well as world-class exhibits by the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).

The expo attracts over 200 000 visitors each year and is referred to as Johannesburg’s biggest day out.

Tickets for the event are charged at weekend and midweek rates. Midweek rates are R80 for adults and R30 for teens. Tickets for children aged six to 12 are R10 and children under six enter free of charge.

Weekend rates are charged at R150 for adults and R130 if tickets are bought through Computicket before the event. Teen and pensioner tickets are charged at R50 while children aged six to 12 are charged at R20. Children under the age of six enter free of charge.
