Edenvale Bowling Club to host twilight bowls

Edenvale Bowling Club is once again organising twilight bowls for all interested bowlers.

There will be six sessions.

The first will be at 5pm on January 25 and the final session on March 1.

The format is three bowl pairs, and the club hopes to fill two greens.

Sides can be all men, all women, or mixed.

The entry fee is R20 per person per session, R240 per team payable in full prior to the commencement of the first game.

Those who will be taking part are advised to wear smart casual or bowls clothing.

Closing date for entries is noon on January 23.

There will be session prizes each week, and after the first session the top side will play the second side and so on, giving every side an equal chance to win points.

After the sixth session, prizes will be awarded to the top three sides overall.
