After 20 years of outstanding service, Adél has opted to retire and she and her husband Gavin will move down to Kwazulu-Natal south coast shortly to pursue new adventures.

At the ceremony, a number of Reddam’s top students, both past and present, representing each year of her teaching career at Reddam House were there to thank her and send her off in grand style.

“Adél Fourie was one of the pioneer teachers to come on board in 1994. She has been an absolute stalwart in the development of the ELS. Thank you Adél for your unswerving dedication and loyalty to our school. We are going to miss you and wish you every success in your new adventure,” said director of Reddam House Bedfordview, Dalene Quayle.
