Bahiya Hajat, a Grade 4 learner at Saheti School was invited to attend the gala evening of the Eisteddfod where she received numerous awards.
Bahiya dances with Jeanne Swart and Ignatius Van Heerden from Iggy’s Dance Academy in Bedfordview.
She is trained by Nicolette from Kinema School of Acrobatics.
She was the junior winner for the highest achievement in dance.
She also received two Ambassador Awards which is only given to the top 3 per cent of 11 000 entries received by the Eisteddfod countrywide.
She was also the item winner for acrobatics and won the modern dance section at the Greater Ekurhuleni Eisteddfod.
