Art competition to be held
Paint and Palette Certificates will be awarded to the three winners.
The Paint & Palette Group will run its next bi-annual art competition on November 18.
The event aims to encourage members to actively produce new artwork and also to give members a platform of recognition.
Two well-known professional artists and art teachers, Cathy Verheul and Simone Je’ Capazorio, will do the critique of the artwork.
Paint and Palette Certificates will be awarded to the three winners.
The Art Competition will replace the group’s November demonstration and no door fee will be charged. The competition will be open to the public for viewing at no charge.
The event will be open from 1.30pm on the day and will take place at the Edenvale Community Centre situated at the corner of Van Riebeeck Avenue and Second Street in Edenvale.
