The Bedfordview-based studio has been running for 28 years and teaches various styles.

Performers from Colette Nasser’s Music Studio are ready to showcase their talents at the Edenvale City Improvement Districts (ECIDs) Festival of Lights.

The performers, young and old, will perform on the mini stage sponsored by Rawsons Dowerglen.

All the learners chose their own songs which they will perform.

Colette obtained her qualifications through Wits University, the University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa.

She has seen many pupils through her studio doors who have learned either guitar or keyboards.

The Bedfordview-based studio has been running for 28 years and teaches various styles which include basic, contemporary, rock and classical music.

The studio is mostly known for its annual show, Night of the Stars, which gives the students the opportunity to perform and expose their skills.

Community members can enjoy the musical talents of the musicians on November 25 on van Riebeeck Avenue in Edenvale.
