Swimming club makes coach proud

Every swimmer swam personal best times and they had fun doing it.

The Edenvale Stingrays Swimming Club recently participated in the Eastern Gauteng Championships during December 2016.

Alice Chyvozertzev took part in every final and received medals in each event. Chrislin Nieuwoudt won the Senior Victrix, after also placing in every event.

Chrislin made the provincial squad and qualified for the senior nationals during the championships.

The majority of the Stingray’s team swam level two times, while some were able to achieve level three times.

Kate Jones, who is the club’s coach, said every swimmer swam personal best times and they had fun doing it.

“We are looking forward to ending the season with a bang but first we have some hard work ahead of us,” she said.
