Students’ fashion show a success

"There was so much talent at one fun-filled event."

Ms Shannon Dean recently won a 2017 internship for designing the winning wedding dress, which was shown in the Oakfields College East Rand campus’ annual fashion show.
The fashion show took place at the Wunderbar German Club in Edenvale on October 27.
“It was a glamorous and exciting evening, showcasing the amazing talent of their fashion students’ work throughout the year,” said Ms Samantha-Jo Hampton, a marketing manager at Oakfields.
According to Ms Hampton, students and past students participated and ensured the show was a great success.
She said the event was organised by public relations/event management students, photographed by past photography students, filmed by film students and the sound was provided by the sound engineering students.
“There was so much talent at one fun-filled event,” said Ms Hampton.
