Calling all craft lovers

The Elphin Lodge Craft Fair will take place on September 19, from 9am to 1pm.

The fundraising event offers creative members of the public the opportunity to showcase their hand-made products.

A number of residents of the Rand Aid Association retirement village have already signed up to display and sell their wares, including the active Elphin Art Group.

Organisers hope to have a number of stalls offering crafts and hand-made products, such as stained glass, mosaic, baked goodies, embroidered articles, knitted toys and fabric painted articles.

There will also be a tombola stand and boerewors rolls. Curry and rice will also be on sale. The village coffee shop, Elphino’s, will be open for tea, scones and other light treats.

The event will take place at the Modderfontein Road village.
