The Committee of Ward 20 Bedfordview and Wychwood has two vacant positions to be filled.

Interested parties must be South African citizens and residents of Ward 20.

The committee is presided over by the councillor, Clr Jill Humphreys, and the requirements are as follows;

– Must be an SA citizen.

– Must be a registered voter of the ward.

– Must be not younger than 18 years of age.

– Must have no criminal conviction.

– Must not owe the council money for services.

The Municipal Ward Committees are bodies of residents tasked with oversight in different categories of service delivery in the wards. Typically, they meet once a month (or more if required) to discuss and report on local issues. The administrator takes minutes and matters are reported to the various municipal departments.
