Man admits to killing Edenvale businessman in 2010

Mr Deneeghere, a duel South African/French citizen, was last seen at the Morningside Country Club on September 18, 2010.

A man has been arrested in connection with the 2010 murder of Edenvale businessman Mr Louis Deneeghere.

In the September 29, 2010, edition of the NEWS, it was reported that Mr Deneeghere was reported missing.

The spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Warrant Officer Jean Olckers, told the NEWS that Mr Deneeghere had disappeared under suspicious circumstances.

Mr Deneeghere, a duel South African/French citizen, was last seen at the Morningside Country Club on September 18, 2010.

His vehicle, a white Volvo station wagon, was found abandoned in Cleveland on September 21, 2010.

A month later, Mr Deneeghere’s body was found in a field near Sebokeng with a gunshot wound.

The man accused of murdering Mr Deneeghere was arrested by the Boksburg North SAPS on a separate murder case.

During the interview with police officers, the man admitted to killing Mr Deneeghere in 2010.

The man will appear in court tomorrow.
