Edenvale gets platform to report bribery and corruption

'Incident of bribery, corruption or even police brutality can be reported.'

The Edenvale Community Police Forum (ECPF) in conjunction with Edenvale South African Police Services (SAPS), created an anti-bribery and corruption email address.

“The implementation of the email address is an effort to combat the high number of reports by people who have been stopped and threatened into paying a bribe,” said Edenvale CPF chairperson, Mrs Linda McKenzie.

“Members of the community are urged to report any incident of bribery, corruption or even police brutality  to the SAPS,” said Mrs McKenzie.

The email address will also provide a private platform for residents who do not wish to speak publicly.

When reporting an incident, include the date and time of the incident, where the incident took place and an explanation of what took place.

The new email address is stopcorruptioninedenvale@gmail.com
