Khanyisa Trust will continue to help

Khanyisa's mission is just as relevant, 25 years later.

The Khanyisa Trust has vowed to continue helping those less fortunate with skills, food, and Christian spiritual support.

This was said by the chairperson, Mr John Povey, during the trust’s annual general meeting held on May 23.

He said with the amalgamation of the Hope and Manna organisations, the trust’s mission is still as relevant as it was 25 years ago when the merger happen.

“We are seeking and providing employment through our work placement activities.

“We are providing training and skills, such as sewing and forklift driver classes. We are also operating a successful feeding scheme, providing good food to any and all in need,” he said.

Mr Povey said the trust is surviving through the support of churches, businesses, individuals and volunteers.
