Reddam students support Rhino conservation

Another R2 600 was raised through the sale of rhino badges. Reddam School’s grand total in this drive stood at R14 000.

Ms Irene Huysamen, of Rhino South Africa, visited Reddam House recently to share with the Prep School pupils the current plight of South Africa’s rhino population.

At the close of Ms Huysamen’s presentation, the senior prep pupils presented her with a cheque for R10 480, which they had raised themselves.

The presentation created further awareness among the pupils which inspired a number of grade four entrepreneurs to sell stress balls, lumo bangles and confectionery to raise an additional R920 to the cause.
