Road trips
Your dog travel checklist for the car should include the following items:
- Sufficient food and water for the entire trip
- Treats, because let’s be honest one can never have too many treats
- Dog poop bags
- A leash
- A blanket or towel for your pup to lie on
- A favourite toy or bone
- A current picture of your dog (to show to people in case you get separated)
- A tag with detailed travel information, including your cellphone number
- Sunscreen if you’re going to be in the sun somewhere. Dogs can get sunburned too.

You should pack the following:
