The upcoming local artist promises a game-changer sound of music on his solo album

ALEXANDRA – Local 23-year-old hip-hop rising star to release his first solo project towards the end of 2019.


Local upcoming hip-hop music artist, songwriter and member of Gomora Black Ink Music Group also known as G-B-I’s , Moses ‘Man-Giza’ Selemela will release his first solo album later this year.

The 23-year-old rapper who has been in the music industry for 10 years said he has learnt a lot about the industry and its dynamics. Selemela, who grew up in the dusty streets of Alexandra, said he was born for music and to entertain people with his talent. “Time is the best teacher. I entered into the music industry when I was very young.

“I worked with a number of music groups and different music artists who were more than willing to help me grow in music. I started hip-hop music as a free-style performer and later decided to write my own songs. In 2014 I went into the studio to record my first single that was titled 247 Pumps.”

In 2015 Man-Giza joined a group called Street Fielders which brought him closer to his passion and taught him more about hip-hop music.

After a year with the Street Fielders, Man-Giza formed Gomora Black Ink (G-B-I) with three fellow local musicians.

Man-Giza is currently brewing his solo project that will be released later this year and has promised music lovers what he described as ‘a different taste’ kind of music style and sound. “I’m currently working on the final touches of my solo album that will be released later this year.

“My sound and my style are different. I want to introduce something unique and original. I haven’t decided on how many tracks the album will have but I can assure fans that it will be the best quality and fitting for the festive season.”

Selemela said the album will be available on all digital music platforms.
