More style in Renault Duster TechRoad

Renault has added a new Duster, the TechRoad, to the successful SUV range.

Since the introduction of the updated Duster in 2018, Renault has seen an impressive 50 per cent increase in sales of the model. Now, after the introduction of the Duster 4×4, Renault has made another addition to the range in the form of the Renault Duster TechRoad. With more aggressive design elements on the front and sides of the vehicle, the new Duster also features a wider rear. In addition to the 17-inch diamond cut wheels, the TechRoad also see the addition of silver roof rails and skid plates at both ends. The c-shaped lights and chrome trim of the grille are also welcome additions to the front of the vehicle.

The French automaker also added red stripes and unique badges to the exterior indicating to its off-road capabilities. With a ground clearance of 210mm, the latest iteration of the Duster has a departure angle of 34° and an approach angle of 30°. The interior also sees the addition of red detailing on the seats and finishes around the cabin. The facia received a redesign with the emphasis on an ergonomic experience for the occupants. Fitted with newly designed seats, the Duster also features more storage spaces around the cabin and a boot capacity of 478-litres before you have folded the rear seats down in their 1/3 and 2/3 configurations.

The interior is also fitted with tech like, on-board GPS navigations, phone mirroring, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which allows for the driver and passengers to access navigation, control music or make calls employing voice commands. The TechRoad also comes fitted with Automatic Climate Control, Speed Limiter and Cruise Control. In addition to the comfort features, the Renault also comes with a range of safety equipment. In addition to the ABS brakes, Electronic Brake Distribution and Emergency Brake Assist, the new Duster also features Rear Park Distance Control, Hill Start Assist and a rearview camera.

Under the bonnet of the Renault Duster TechRoad which will be replacing the Duster Dynamique 4×2, you will find a 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor which coupled to the manual gearbox will produce 66 kW and 210 N.m of torque while the 6-speed Dual-Clutch EDC Automatic gearbox will increase those figures to 80 kW and 250 N.m.

As is standard across Renault’s entire product range, the Renault Duster Model range comes standard with a 5-year/150 000km mechanical warranty and a 6-year anti-corrosion warranty. Services take place at 15 000km intervals, and a standard 3-year/45000km service plan applies.
