Datsun GO to the top
For the fourth consecutive year the Datsun GO has topped the AA Kinsey Report in the category; City Cars and Entry Level most cost-effective vehicle to service or repair.
The category made up of eight vehicles, saw the Datsun costing 16 percent less than the closest rival for its service parts basket. The repair basket price of R8 846 was 21 percent less than the closest competitor. The total basket price of R63 310 is R3 000 less than that of second place.
“The results of the 2019 AA Kinsey Report serve to further reinforce the Datsun GO’s position as a market leader in this segment as well as its reputation for providing the South African customer base with an offering that is not only affordable in terms of its selling price but also represents real value for money in the long-term,” Kabelo Rabotho, Marketing Director for Datsun South Africa.
The Datsun Go was designed to offer a cost-effective vehicle to first-time new car buyers and is catering to the high demand of A-segment vehicle market. The 2019 AA Kinsey Report features all Auto Trader Car of the Year 2019 finalists with most prices in this year’s AA Kinsey Report were obtained from dealers in the Durban, Pinetown and Umhlanga areas.
