The changes to the front of the Honda Civic come in the shape of a new three-dimensional bumper and a revised grille, the 1.8 Elegance and 1.5T Executive models also see the addition of chrome detailing on the front and around the fog lamps.
On the rear bumper of all the models, Honda has also added chrome detailing almost spanning the entire width of the vehicle. The Japanese automaker also designed new Shark Grey, double-spoke 16-inch alloys wheels for the 1.8 Comfort derivative while the 1.8 Elegance and 1.5T Executive variants will come with 17-inch wheels with scythe-shaped spokes in Dark Grey. The 1.5T Sport gets its own 17-inch alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black.
The interior sees new materials incorporated and further noise reduction or road noise. The 7.0-inch LCD display allows you to control your digital audio system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the Elegance, Sport and Executive models. The updated system can be controlled with the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel or with the newly added buttons and volume nob instead of the touchscreen.
For the Civic Executive, Honda has included Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, and Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Forward Collision Warning and Lane watch with blind spot camera. Also included on the Sport and Executive derivatives is Walk Away Auto Lock as part of the smart key system. The 1.8-litre normally aspirated powertrain producing 104 kW and 174 N.m of torque will remain on offer alongside the 1.5-litre turbo petrol unit which is able to produce 127 kW and 220 N.m of torque as before. Both powertrains will come paired with a CVT gearbox for maximum efficiency.

The recommended retail pricing includes a five-year/200 000 km warranty, a five-year/90 000 km service plan, as well as three years of AA Roadside Assistance. Services are at 15 000 km intervals for the 1.8 models, and 10 000 km for the 1.5T variants.
