Emokid encourages people to give their 100 per cent in everything

ALEXANDRA – Emokid said he was expecting the new project, Season Construction 2 featuring hit tracks like Keep it 100% to receive the same reception from music lovers.

Up-and-coming hip-hop artist and songwriter Esethu ‘Emokid’ Ntshofu is on a mission to introduce a ‘reconstruction project’ of rap and hip-hop music through his new extended play (EP), Reconstruction Project part 2 to be released soon.

In 2014, the former member of the Eastern Cape Province based hip-hop music group, 4Tears, moved to Johannesburg where he released his first EP, Season Construction 1 that received a positive reception from the public. He will soon release his new EP with six tracks.

He has worked with a number of well-known artists and has been the opening act for the likes of eMTee, Fifi Cooper, 2017 SAMA best hip-hop artist Kwesta and Nasty C.

He told Alex News that his new EP would bring a new and different ‘taste’ to the hip-hop music genre.

“This project was a brainchild of a number of local amazing and talented artists I worked with,” he said.

“I collaborated with Thabiso ‘Traigh Eal Beats’ Lebepe, Graig ‘Wizraig’ Phala and Lundi ‘MNALundii’ Mnakaniso.
