The Rand Club and Historic Financial District Tour

The Rand Club was founded a year after Johannesburg sprang to life, and has occupied its present building, a fine Edwardian edifice in the heart of the old financial district, since 1904. Join in on an exploration of the history, personalities and architecture of this marvellous Johannesburg institution and its neighbourhood. And, as an added bonus, James Findlay will be leading the group through his Collectable Books and Antique Maps store, recently relocated from his Saxonwold home to the basement of the Rand Club.
