A local bride-to-be had her dream of finding the perfect wedding dress come true.

Laverne Douries from Hyde Park won the kind of shopping spree that dreams are made of when she entered a Dove competition where one lucky person could win a custom Ryan Keys dress, in her favourite colour, to the value of R10 000.

Dove deodorant partnered with designer Keys – putting Dove Invisible Dry to the ultimate test at South African Fashion Week by spraying deodorant on a variety of brightly coloured garments from Ryan’s latest collection right before the models stepped out onto the runway. This was to prove that Dove Invisible Dry leaves no white marks on 100 colours.

Douries got to browse through the custom designs while sipping champagne, she then tried on a few dresses before falling in love with an embroidered silk organza dress, with 3D leaf detailing, the bodice is hand draped net with hand applied flowers that cover her bust and bleed into the silk organza skirt.
