A summer song for December fun

JOBURG – Summer is upon us, and with the festive season just around the corner, it's party time.

Christian Heath has released a brand-new summer song.

While many may recognise him from the 2009 group of the same name, the Johannesburg-based artist has since embarked on a solo career and is looking to take things to a new level.

Following the success of his debut single as a solo artist, I’m Yours, which charted on various radio stations across the country, Christian Heath has produced another smashing song – this time a little more uptempo.

Using his standard rock base, No Good For You is a vibey pop song and just what you need to get those feet tapping and hips swaying.

Heath has a gift for writing love songs, but unlike I’m Yours, No Good For You shares a different perspective. So many of us spend our lives looking for the perfect person, and sometimes, no matter how perfect someone may seem, it does not mean they’re good for you.

While I’m Yours was a song about long distance relationships and speaks about two lovers’ determination to stay true to each other, No Good For You uses some tongue-in-cheek lyrics to bring the upbeat song alive, much like Maroon 5’s new song, Don’t Wanna Know.

Always writing and producing new music, Heath has been sitting on this track for quite some time, brewing new ideas until it reached perfection. The local singing talent has decided the time is now – and his fans couldn’t agree more.

While he misses the brotherhood of a band, Heath wanted to return to his roots. With more control over his work, he can now create the music he would want to listen to as both a maker and consumer of the art.

The independent artist is excited about his new release and hopes that all his fans love it just as much as he does.
