Homemakers Expo 2016

Tickets cost R100 for adults, R60 for pensioners and children under the age of 12 get in for free.
Looking to add a bit of flair to your abode? The Homemakers Expo is the perfect place to stock up on funky new designs, and even meet suppliers face-to-face. There will be a number of exhibitors, a Builders Get-It Done Arena; The Boxes, who have collaborated with 94.7FM; Lawn Movers, who have teamed up with the University of Johannesburg’s Industrial Design students; and even Up in Deli so you can stock up on some great culinary treats.

Wine Not Pop Up Bar

Tickets cost R100 before 7pm and R150 from then on. Tickets are only available at the door.

It’s wine time! Wine Not Pop Up Bar will have a selection of fine vino and craft beer available, as well as a tasty food menu and some killer live tunes from Beukes & Delaney. It’s always a great way to start the weekend.

Intensive Meisner workshop with Raymond T Williams

27 February

P.O.P Art, 286 Fox Street

9am to 6pm

Tickets cost R1 800.

Actors, directors and writers who are interested in broadening their horizons will be trained by Meisner. They will learn a number of techniques, including how to work in the moment, use their own impulses and feelings and how to work off what other actors do. Meisner will also explain the basis for emotional preparation and a complete improvisation-based approach to scene work with basic script analysis.

This monthly lifestyle and culture market is taking Braam by mstorm with its contemporary African theme. It’s unlike any usual market which focuses on getting a product to a consumer.
