Support act for Lionel Richie concert revealed

JOHANNESBURG – Reports have confirmed that RnB and soul singer, Zonke Dikana will warm up the crowd before the legendary Lionel Ritchie takes the stage in March.

Zonke is a multi-platinum award-winning singer and is one of South Africa’s biggest stars. Not only does she perform, but she also writes and produces her own material.

She has co-written hits for dance artist, Winnie Khumalo, kwaito rapper Thebe, late RnB star TK and also worked with legends such as Bongo Maffin and Oskido.

“I am looking forward to delighting audiences with all-time favourites and new soul hits off my latest album titled Work of Heart. And I am especially excited to be sharing the stage with Lionel Richie who I have admired for taking pride in his art,” Zonke stated.

The South African artist and local fans are definitely in for a treat when Richie takes the stage. The star has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and has developed a ground-breaking style which has defied genre categorisation.

He’ll be wowing crowds with his classic hits such as All Night Long, Hello, Say You, Say Me and many more.

Richie and Zonke will take over the stage at the Ticketpro Dome on 15, 20 and 21 March.

Unfortunately tickets for the performance on 20 March are already sold out.
