Alexandra’s celebrated wonder kid, DJ Arch Junior will join some of South Africa’s most outstanding DJs for a global celebration of house music at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown on 27 February.
He will share the stage with award-winning Black Coffee; the ‘Godfather of SA house’, DJ Christos; Roger Sanchez; David Morals; Jazzie B and Toddy Terry at the Back to the Old Skool concert.
Also joining the South African contingent are DJ Ganyani, Bob Mabena, DJ Mbuso Phezulu, Sishisoul and Fistaz Mixwell.
Alexandra’s toddler DJ sensation, DJ Arch Junior, became a social media revelation when he was first discovered by social media users after his family started posting videos of the toddler showing off his talent on a mixing deck in January last year.
The three-year-old DJ, whose real name is Oratilwe Madumo, after his mother Refilwe Madumo’s surname as the couple is not married yet, went on to win SA’s Got Talent and captured the hearts of the nation.
