Halloween hits Jozi
JOHANNESBURG – Griet and Arcade Empire and Battalion have teamed up to bring Joburg the ultimate Halloween block party, right in the middle of town.
What’s creepier than Halloween? Travelling into the centre of Jozi for Halloween 2015 – the creepiest party of the year.
The event, which is sponsored by Jose Quervo, will give Joburgers a taste of the terrifying. Guests will be able to wander through an abandoned post office that just happens to be right next to a bunch of old warehouses and a creepy cemetery.
You can bet that the ghouls will be out for a party with three stages and a number of talented acts such as Shortstraw, PH Fat and The Plastics taking over the main stage. Rocking the psych stage will be The Tazers, Pollinator and Hellcats; and on the Electro stage, expect to see Hypomaniacs, Pop Art Live, Metro Ticket and many more.
So you should start getting your freaky costume ready because you won’t want to miss this!
It’s all happening on 30 October, 6pm to 2am, at 20 Solomon Street, Johannesburg.
No under 18s will be allowed into the venue and ID is required.
Pre-sold online tickets are R150; tickets at the door are R200 and VIP tickets are R400.
