If you think you have the looks, the personality, the drive to help others and have always wanted to be on stage, then this is your chance to apply and join the pageant.

This annual pageant, held on 5 September at the Eastbank Hall, is a search for individuals with unique skills who wish to make a positive impact in their communities. It is in partnership with Rox-Roll Production, has been running since 2013 and is meant to develop communities by creating programmes which take teenagers off the streets and give them something to do.

Pageant founder and CEO of Black Rose Academy, Marks Bernards said, “We give out vouchers, certificates and a one-year contract to the winner at the Black Rose Academy.

“The contestants will also get the opportunity to enter Miss Province, which is going to be held in KwaZulu-Natal later in the year.”
