Comedy to tickle your ribs!

MABONENG – THE unofficial National Arts Festival preview show, The F Word, returns to the city this month, and it promises to be a barrel of laughs.

Prepare for four days of non-stop laughter as some of the best comedy shows take to the stage to give you a sneak preview of what audiences at the 215 National Arts Festival in Grahamstown will see.

Catch local comedian and Celebrity MasterChef 2015 winner, Chris Forrest as he teams up with MasterChef SA judge, Pete Goffe-Wood in a show that’s all about cooking and sex in Don’t Burn Your Sausage. The Goliath brothers will also take to the stage alongside Warren Robertson and Deep Fried Man, who has a whole new hilarious show lined up.

The line-up is as follows:

25 June: Don’t Burn Your Sausage (Chris Forrest and Pete Goffe-Wood) at 8pm.

26 June: Aweh Mzansi! at 8pm.

27 June: The Great Explorer (Warren Robertson) at 6pm.

27 June: Still Funnier Than Them (Chris Forrest, Deep Fried Man and

Warren Robertson) at 7.30pm.

27 June: Deep Fried Man Kills (Deep Fried Man)

28 June: The Box at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost R80 per show or R300 for a festival pass. Tickets for the last show, The Box are R50.

It’s all happening at the P.O.P Art Theatre, 286 Fox Street, Maboneng Precinct.
