ALEXANDRA - No dream is too big, that’s according to the 21 year old hip hop musician from Alexandra.
No dream is too big according to 21-year-old hip hop musician Moloko Godfrey Lamola from Alexandra.
Lamola, also known as Chakz recently released his first mix tape album, Heaven In Hell after ditching his job at a fast food chain. In an interview with Alex News Lamola said, “I saved my money every month and I was sleeping on the floor, I used that money for my mix tape.” He added that the mix tape was doing well and he recovered all his money and has bought a new bed.
The mix tape was produced at MT Studios and has sold more than 50 copies in the first month. One of the songs Animal Behaviour has had 3 222 downloads on the internet.
On the album he also worked with Ezekiel Aka ZK Ramogale, Romeo X-Ray and MT also known as Skhanda man. Lamola’s goal is to land a recording deal by the end of the year.
