MTN has launched and showcased the benefits of FrontRow, a new subscription-based video on demand (VOD) service which allows travellers to keep their children entertained while on a long journey and also allows soapie lovers not to miss their favourite shows on TV.
The launch price of R179 or R399 a month inclusive of a 10GB data bundle for streaming and viewing, FrontRow gives all customers regardless of which network they subscribe with access to thousands of movies and their favourite TV series on up to five different devices, one device at a time.
FrontRow has a music video catalogue that is updated monthly and Larry Annetts, chief marketing officer for MTN South Africa, said soapie lovers can download and watch them from anywhere on any network.
Soapies, better known as uMgosi in township lingo, are a favourite especially among women in black communities.
