MAQ calls for aspiring actors

ALEXANDRA - MAQ, the makers of washing power are searching for colourful characters to act in a movie roles for one of their products.

MAQ, the makers of a washing power, are searching for colourful characters to act in a movie for one of their products.

The movie MAQAMovie follows the success of the previous movie MAQapella which was created for another product. They are looking for South African citizens who are amateurs and not employed actors. They must be over 18 years of age, have valid ID documents and willing to be photographed and interviewed for MAQ publicity purposes. The opportunity offers five roles each with a R10 000 prize.

Sales and marketing director Jacqueline Jacobs said the individuals should be unique, distinctive and add colour to the movie. They will go through an audition by a film selection team. Entries will be open on audition days or via WhatsApp: 083 382 3854 T’s & C’s Apply. The auditions take place in February and March in Gauteng, Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga and North West provinces with finals held in Johannesburg on a date still to be announced. The Gauteng schedule is;

Boxer Benoni and Boxer Diepsloot on 13 February from 10am to 4pm

Newtown Baseline on 14 February from 10am to 4pm and 14 February from 10am to 2pm

Maponya Mall on 14 February from 10am to 4pm and 14 February from 10am to 2pm
