Teen beauties urged to register for Miss Alex Teen
ALEXANDRA - A call has been made urging Alex teenage beauties to register for the Miss Alex Teen beauty pageant to held at the Eastbank Hall on 18 April.
A call has gone out urging Alex teenage beauties to register for the Miss Alex Teen beauty pageant to held at the Eastbank Hall on 18 April.
The call was made by Black Rose Academy in partnership with the Miss Alexandra Teen Group. Marks Bernards, CEO of the academy said they were looking for models from Alexandra between the age of 13 and 19, and those interested can enter by e-mailing their name, surname, age and contact number. He said a headshot photo and a full-length one should also be e-mailed to: blackroseacademy48@gmail.com or missalexandrateen@gmail.com.
The closing date for registrations is 28 February. Winners of this pageant will have a chance to enter Miss Greater Johannesburg Ambassador and the Miss Gauteng 2015 competitions.
“We have invited career expo people to come and guide most of our teenagers on a career path and which course to choose when doing Grade 12, including our special matriculates who will be given advice on what lies ahead after Grade 12,” Bernards said.
Anyone who lives in Alexandra is eligible to enter the competition, but they must bring proof of residence. Aspiring contestants can also like the Miss Alexandra Teen Facebook page.
