2. Mosque marvels

The wonders of Midrand’s Nizamyie Kulliyesi Mosque will be laid bare on a Johannesburg Heritage Foundation walking tour of this architectural marvel. The largest building of its kind in the southern hemisphere, the mosque is a scaled-down replica of Erdine’s Selimye Mosque in Turkey. The tour will take place on 12 July at 10.30am.
